Willmott Dixon constructs many different types of mixed-use development.

We have delivered major town centre regeneration schemes, for example, at Keynsham in Somerset, where the new development comprised shops, library, offices and public space.

In housing, we often build mixed-tenure projects, which can combine: social rental housing; private rental housing; affordable homes for private sale; and residential development for private sale. Frequently, these projects will also include health, education, community, retail, and leisure facilities.

On mixed-use developments, we work with a range of clients, including: local authorities; housing associations; health trusts; and private developers. We may also involve our private residential developer business, Regen, where we offer finance and development advice to a public sector client.

Our in-house project teams and our supply chain have the expertise and experience to manage the challenging logistics required for mixed-use development projects, which are often located in busy city centre locations.

We understand the sensitivities involved when working in live environments, and we employ liaison officers to ensure the process is smooth and causes minimal disruption to neighbours and all project stakeholders.
