Our Interiors company delivered a complex fit out of the well-know One Puddle Dock building by Blackfriars Station.

The property benefits from easy access to the River Thames, Farringdon Street and London South Bank.

Over the course of 18 months we refurbished the six storey 1 Puddle Dock to create modern new office space that can be used by Network Rail or other companies. The 100,000 sq ft refit to Cat A and B standard included new M&E installations, lift installations, windows and external doors.

A better building

The linear 1970’s office building now provides light workable space that benefits from a fresh, new stripped back and retro look.

To achieve the transformation, our Interiors team worked with Scott Brownrigg, Parsons Brinckerhoff, Watermans as structural engineer and Sweett Group, who provided quantity surveying, project management and sustainability services.

Puddle Dock - rich in history

Puddle Dock was formerly the site of one of London's docks. It is now a minor street and the site of the Mermaid Theatre which closed in 2003.

The area was dramatically altered by major works in the 1960s, involving the reclaiming of foreshore of the River Thames at Puddle Dock and the rebuilding of Upper Thames Street as a major traffic thoroughfare.
