Senior Quantity Surveyor

Are you an experience Quantity Surveyor looking for a new opportunity to make significant impact in our business? Look no further! We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Southwest team. In this pivotal role, you will assume overall responsible for effectively managing project costs.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the key responsibilities:



  • Ensure projects are delivered within budget and to the highest quality, exceeding customer expectations.

  • Work closely with the project team and senior commercial staff to ensure budgeted targets are met.

  • Establish strong working relationships with supply chain, consultants, and customers.

  • Assist in accurately valuing, certifying and issuing payment notices for supply chain partners in accordance with contract arrangement.

  • Ensure external valuations are submitted in accordance with conditions of the main contract and that payments are received by the due date.

  • Complete cost value comparison reports that accurately reflect the current position on site and the final projection.

  • Identify any potential disputes in a timely manner and enable introduction of effective solutions.

The ideal candidate


  • Previous experience of overseeing all commercial aspects of schemes of a similar value.

  • Professional quantity surveying qualification but not essential.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Effective collaborator and communicator
