Based from our offices in Hertfordshire, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience working on exciting construction projects across North London, the Northern Home Counties, and East Anglia, helping to shape the communities of tomorrow.

Our programme is 2 to 5 years in duration (depending upon your level of academic achievement) and will give you the chance to earn, learn and gain real experience alongside a part-time study for a relevant qualification that is paid for by Willmott Dixon.

Starting in September 2027, we have opportunities in the following disciplines:

Quantity Surveying: Your role is about managing the costs of a project on site. This will include preparing tender and contract documents, weighing up commercial risks, procuring the best supply chain and managing payments for completed work.

Site Management: You play a vital role in turning plans into reality, leading the safe and efficient delivery of construction projects from start to finish.


Estimating: Working at the heart of the pre-construction team, you will evaluate project requirements, build robust cost plans and support the successful delivery of tender submissions.


Planning: You play a key role in bringing construction projects to life, creating detailed schedules and coordinating activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and within programme.


Sustainability: You will partner with preconstruction and project teams to champion sustainability, helping ensure construction projects meet ambitious environmental, social and governance (ESG) objectives.

Essential Criteria


  • Right to work in the UK.

  • 5 GCSE’s grade 4/C or above including English, Maths and Science (or equivalent)

  • Have a valid driver's license.

  • All applicants must have a minimum level 3 qualification by September 2027. Such as A-Level, T-Level, BTEC or equivalent.

  • For graduate roles, you will need to be degree qualified by September 2027.

  • (Desirable) You have had some exposure to construction (work experience, placement or similar).
