Friars House

Working with Moreland Estate Management, in the winter of 2021 our team completed a recladding project at Friars House in Aylesbury. Procured via the SCF Framework, the scope of works involved the recladding of a five storey, 50 apartment residential building set over a retail shopping centre.

The project commenced in December 2020 and consequently a series of Covid-19 safe working protocols were applied to the delivery, with the team adapting to the guidance prescribed by the Construction Leadership Council, applying safe working procedures and systems and whilst working at height, and completed with zero harm.

Despite the various market influences on material availability, commodity price increases and rising inflation, the team has been able to deliver this project on budget and finished three weeks ahead of schedule, while also achieving a 10/10 contractor performance assessment score from the SCF.
