Cheadle College campus redevelopment celebrates structural completion
Key milestone for major college revamp in Cheadle
Willmott Dixon Interiors has been appointed by Legal & General Property (LGP) to refurbish 4 The Square, an office building in Stockley Park, near Heathrow
The refurbishment is part of LGP’s strategy to modernise the building’s interior and increase its rental proposition to tenants from all industry sectors.
The company will work with John Cobb Consulting to bring two floors that provide 80,000 square foot of space at 4 The Square up to CAT A standard. It’s the first time Willmott Dixon Interiors has worked for Legal & General and Mike Hart, chief operating officer at Interiors, said, “This fit-out is exactly how we can bring our skills and experience to enhance a client’s commercial space to attract high quality tenants. We have a successful track record for schemes of this kind, and look forward to working with LGP and John Cobb Consulting to increase the potential of rentable space at 4 The Square.”
Will Edwards, fund manager at Legal & General Property, commented: “Stockley Park is a premier office scheme, situated in an excellent strategic location. Taking an active approach to asset management, we have put an initiative in place that we believe will not only significantly enhance the asset’s position within the park but protect its value over the medium to long term.”
The project will complete in July and comes as Willmott Dixon Interiors finishes its largest ever fit-out, the £10 million transformation of a seven-storey facility for the LSE at Lincoln Inn Fields.
Stockley Park enjoys a reputation as being one of Europe’s premier business parks, occupying 150 acres with 25 buildings, which accommodate over 165,000 square metres of high quality office space. More on 4 The Square, here: http://www.stockleypark.co.uk/available_spaces/4-the-square
