The school is a collaboration between major UK contractors, providing free training to help our supply chain partners become more sustainable. The school is a first for the industry and is part of our continued commitment to lead the industry into a more sustainable future.
A fundamental element of the virtual School is the smart self-assessment and action planning tool which sets it apart from other web-based sustainability resources and information portals. Faced with a wide range of topics and resources, knowing where to start their sustainability journey can be a challenge for our partners. The School’s innovative approach helps each member develop a unique sustainability action plan tailored to what they do, who they do it for, the level of sustainability impacts in their trade and their current level of competence. Once completed, a supplier can reassess and access an updated action plan resulting in a process of continuous improvement.
As well as an extensive online library of learning resources, the School also organises regular supplier days and conferences, which partners of the School take in turns to host. Access the School here.
