Willmott Dixon secures £15.3m Catterick town centre redevelopment
Latest project for defence sector will deliver facilities for military community and local residents
Company follows DfE scheme in Leeds with academy role in Oldham
Willmott Dixon is following its completion last year of Dixons Trinity Academy in Leeds with another scheme through the Department for Education framework; the £19.7m Brian Clarke Church of England Academy in Oldham.
The project for The Cranmer Education Trust will create a 1,200 place school situated on an easily accessible, town centre site on Booth Street, benefitting from existing public transport links, providing catchment for young people across a wide geographical area.
It is the Trust’s ambition that the building will include an original and unique piece of art, potentially a stained-glass window, designed and produced by the school’s patron Brian Clarke, the Oldham born and world renowned artist.

As an Oldham based contractor, the delivery of the Brian Clarke Church of England Academy is the latest in a series of local projects the business has secured. In March the company handed over the £9m Construction Centre at Oldham College five weeks ahead of schedule.
