One in ten of our team are either an apprentice or a management trainee, thanks to an award-winning programme which has been nurturing young talent since 2015.
It has also encouraged more women to enter a traditionally male industry. A quarter of graduates in 2017 were female.
The Cobham apprentice programme puts young people on the path to a career in construction, giving vocational training as well as introducing them to the Company’s culture and values.
These efforts were recognised by judges at the Constructing Excellence Awards, who awarded the programme the SECBE Apprentice Initiative Award for the second year running in 2017.
