Delivering much needed affordable rented housing
Creating 188 new homes in Mill Hill
EcoWorld London (in JV with Willmott Dixon) is creating 188 new homes for Barnet Council in Mill Hill, consisting of 159 homes for private sale, together with 29 homes for affordable rent.
The development will create the third phase of the popular new Millbrook Park community that in total will provide 2,174 high-quality homes in superb landscaped parkland setting, together with shops, offices and a new primary school.
The Millbrook Park apartments are being built around a residents-only ‘secret garden’ that will come alive as the seasons change, creating homes that offer a tranquil and luxurious retreat. With underground car parking, screening and games rooms, a concierge service and gym, every aspect of life has been catered to.
Millbrook Park lies within the historic parish of Hendon and the development has been designed by renowned architects Broadway Malyan. Millbrook Park will be in a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments and penthouses, together with a small number of three and four-bedroom houses.
Residents benefit from underground parking and a low carbon district heating system. The homes are a short walk from Mill Hill East underground station and less than nine miles from central London.
Brian Brady, managing director of EcoWorld London:
"Millbrook Park is an ideal fit for our strategy of providing outstanding homes in popular locations and close to excellent transport links. By combining the development of homes for sale and private rent, we are able to accelerate new housing by building both tenure mixes concurrently. The development will be to the highest levels of quality and design and we are very proud to be working with Barnet Council to create these outstanding homes for residents.”
