The Role

We are looking for experienced Quantity Surveyors to commercially deliver fast track interior works. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in frameworks, particularly fast track roll outs or refresh works on hotels, retail, gyms, public houses or similar. As this position will involve working nationally it will best suit someone that is happy staying away from home on a regular basis (1 or 2 days a week) with an office base in Farringdon, London for the rest of the time.


The main role of a Project Surveyor at Willmott Dixon is to provide commercial expertise and be responsible for the financial delivery of a project to ensure that it is procured and delivered within budget and to the highest quality whilst exceeding our customers’ expectations.


You will be responsible for the:



  • Delivery of the project to meet its financial targets

  • You need to demonstrate good working knowledge of contract conditions.

  • Demonstrate the management of project risks.

  • Have the ability to foster productive relationships

  • Thrive in a fast paced environment.

  • Attend pitches with operational staff to help secure the project. 

  • Experience in delivering presentations.

The Project

As the specialist interiors arm of the Willmott Dixon Group we are currently involved in some major projects with individual values to circa £50m. These include some major refurbishments to listed and landmark buildings, flagship stores for luxury brands, and educational & medical institutions. Most of our workload is London and the South East. We also have a roll-outs team undertaking refresh works for household brand name customers nationally.

Essential and Desirable Criteria

Proven experience of:



  • MS Excel.

  • Successful procurement.

  • Re-measurement of high risk packages and key trades.

  • Working knowledge of relevant contract conditions.

  • Financial / cost control leading or assisting on a relevant project.


The successful applicant must be happy based in the office and on site, as you may be required to stay away from home 2-3 days per week.
