The Role

We are currently looking to recruit a Management Trainee Bid Coordinator/Writer to join our team. Working out of our Northern head office, near Manchester, you will be directly involved in the production and coordination of bids for construction projects ranging from £2m - £65m in value. Your career will begin with learning how to assess bid requirements, how to write and complete high quality PQQs, and design winning presentations. You will also learn how to coordinate our people from across the business to gain their expertise and input into bids.

Our Management Trainees come from diverse backgrounds and qualification routes. For this particular position, we would welcome applications from:

  • Graduates from arts and humanities, including but not limited to;
    • English Language

    • English Literature

    • History

    • Marketing

  • People with a proven skill in writing

  • Those with a creative flair and who want a career where their work will have a positive impact on local communities

All that we ask is that you have a passion for building a career in construction. The programme will give you a great foundation; you will get exposure to all areas of our business to develop your understanding of the construction business as a whole not just your chosen discipline. The length of your programme will depend on your entry route, generally between two and four years. On successful completion of the training programme you will be positively supported to complete a professional qualification such as CIOB and progress onto an Assistant Bid Coordinator role within the business.

There will be a structured training programme for you to follow, and a mentor will assist with your progress.
